swsy clarinet section (:

oh yes. that's Mr Rasull in the photo with us & his Eb clarinet. jealous? hahaha. he's such a wonderous player!

swsy clarinet section! <3

woots! sws youth concert is over and i'm so gonna miss swsy so much! the sunday practices are so fun under the super cold air-condition. i dont really make conversations with the swsy musicians but somehow tgt for a mth i'll sure have some feelings somehow. and here i am missing the sunday practices. awww... today is a sunday and i'm at home. ): swsy!

yeps. the concert was done up properly by swsy and i kinda enjoyed myself. theo was being quite irritated by me being super talkative and not knowing a lot of things. haha. i prefer to say that she's being jokingly irritated. hahaha. now she's off mugging for O's and i wont be practicing with her for a full practice anymore i suppose. i really like the sundays where we practiced tgt with swsy and kinda had enjoyment. will miss theo lots! (:

personally the concert feels nice to me. haha. Scootin' was really nice and the percussion solo in Sevens was nice too. only that Earth was a teeny weeny of a letdown. bjorn said that due to way the theatre is built, the instruments' out-of-tune sounds are quite absorbed and it cant really be heard by the audiences. yay. the bird calls in Hymn is superb, and funny. haha. Rasull helped in "creating" a bird 2days back using the synthesizer. haha. and and, the string bass played is superb! another wonderous player.

the practice 2days back was very funny. Mr Tan was confused and he conducted the band for Earth with the speed of Reverie. lols! and the band played Earth in that speed for like one bar and we all laughed like mad. there are lots of funny happenings during me&theo's mth with swsy. maybe it's because we arent from swsy so i find them memorable. hahaha. i love the times during 20/5-9/6. SWSY RAWKS! (:

took photos onstage with the clarinet section (above) right after the concert. the feeling was really different. during Aeon II, the photo shots were done backstage. during SWSY concert, the photo shots were done upstage. haha. the percussion section seemed super enthu. haha. after packing up then went out for supper with bjorn&linying, kiesha. we ate at the bugis cafe till we were again, the last customers to leave. haha. talking about being late reminds me that during the concert intermission after me&theo went downstage to say a few hi-s, we sat and chatted away at the backstage. err we were almost late for the 2nd half! haha. we were like the last to be seated back onstage. haha. but we had a good chat, i think. me&korkor chatted for quite a while before concert began. ^o^

anyways i found a link at faizal's blog. it's Scootin' on Hardrock played by us ytd. :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HQHgMjchHA

and only then i realized that Rasull makes his own videos playing his different instruments for different pieces! gosh. he's really wonderous lar. i really take my hats off him. *bows* here's a link to one of his wonderous works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kVak4U63mg
