YAYS. Just went out with my mommy yesterday and...I've finally bought stuffs back! Hooray! ^^ We started off going to PS, wanting to get the GV membership which is free (cheap-stake mah). However that dumb membership only allows $6.50 movie tickets on tuesdays in which is such a random day. But it's free after all so shan't expect much.
Next we went shopping at PS and Heerens, and ended up buying some clothings, shoes and a mobile phone! Oolala. I was choosing between LG ice-cream and Samsung F480. Despite the horrifying tales about LG, I shall try it out for myself. And I aim to try all brands of phones at least once. Haha. I bought this LG pink flip phone in which the shop-owner claims to be the only shop who sells it.
But the main point that captured my attention was these 3 words: MADE IN KOREA. Lol! Okay I know you're speechless but I'm currently crazy over Korean boy-bands!
DBSK first, and now it's also
Super Junior. Hahaha! XD
Just had dinner in which the dumb chicken sauce got into my eyes. -_- Before that Ying and I were at Bugis after band. Shiok for her! We were deciding on buying this tumbler online but ended up she bought a clock while I'm still empty-handed. My mom claims clock with human faces are not auspicious. -_-''' But since I'm a good girl, I shall listen to mommy. (:
It was uber funnily stupid experience. We took a train from amk to city hall, then change to the other line. We were sending photos through our phones so we kind of just walk and talk. And that is when the nightmare of Singaporeans start to surface. People stands ON the yellow line, train arrives, door open...CHIONG arh. WTH!
Due to last year's Japan trip, we fell in love with how Japs queue up for everything esp trains. Thus both of us are standing behind the yellow line. Seriously lah. Those people, they stand ON the yellow line, fine. But they even forgot the purpose of the bloody yellow line. Door opens, they still chiong in loh. Poeple can't even get out. Then what the hell the yellow line is for?! Just stand right in front of the door lah. Fine. Since both of us are so high on DBSK and SuJu, we just laughed and waited for the next train.
We then talked about Japs' way of queuing up and compared with SG, we're
crap, nowhere near comparable. Bugis was only one stop away but apparently people refuse to move and thus we ended up missing our stop. People just WON'T budge. We practically raised our fist and "excuse me!!!" then they move a bit. A teeny weeny bit. But due to us still looking at photos of our heart-throbs, we just laugh at SG kiasu-ness. Bet lots of people out there has this experience before. Oh well.
My mom just told me today that my uncle had returned from Korea and he bought for me a DBSK album and 2009 calendar...in which is what I've been pondering over if I should buy online. Hahaha! Now I've got it! ;D
Hmm I have this random craze over milo. Except I don't like my mom's "healthy" milo which does not contain condensed milk but only has milo powder and hot water. PLAINITY!
