Woohoo! June holiday is so not a holiday. Spent first week going to school for lessons and ended up many a time in the library due to cancellation of lessons. Relationship programme was good and funny but it would be great if it lasted for more days. Leroy, our speaker had really a lot to share with us as a form of motivation. Next was the post-SYF performance on 050609. Zzz. Spent 2 nights wasted from waiting backstage for our turn to rehearse 5 mins on stage. Performance was rather successful as rumors speaks it all. (: That was the last time on stage with the JC2s as the YJ band. All the best, seniors! :D

Day 1 This week was having chinese cultural camp (CCC) at NUS. Together with Ying, Mingchee and Sandy we started off with meeting at the station with the rest of the campers on Tuesday. Arrived at PGPR and we were given a transponder each which leads us to our hostel. Woo! One room each! We settled down and got into our groups. Ying, Mingchee and myself were together in 伏羲 with 12 other members. We had our ice-breaker games and lunched. Next up was lectures. Zzz... Oops. >< After that we had a workshop on 面塑 in which we did a penguin each. Heh.

Day 2 Ying and I managed to woke up early despite watching movie the night before till 2 plus. Chinese hmwk loh. Haha. We did another workshop on 剪纸 in which we cut out different forms of 双喜. Quite hilarious. Lectures were a little...ahem. Oops. After lunch we played games! 众仙下C洋。 Played with balloons, 两人三脚 soccer, Q&A and flour. Haha! Quite fun actually. Apart from a few bruises along the way. Haha. Next was our 蟠桃晚宴! Super cool and the food is delicious! (: Had our 喊标 with the "money" we earned from playing games that afternoon. The games in between was rather entertaining. Haha. Ying and I had our turn playing the 默契游戏。Hah! Quite a tiring day. After that our group met at around 12am to discuss for our skit performance the next day. Yawn...

Day 3 Ying had to enter my room to wake me up. Heh. Slept ytd while doing hmwk again. Aiyah dont do already lah. Had another workshop doing 月饼 and we proceeded on with about 3 hours to practice our skit. Our group leader Weijie managed to catch the main points and we altered the script to a comedy. Haha! Our group is marvelous man! Shuting's part especially. Ying was the scorpion monster while I was the chicken. =.= Funny script. Haha! We then had lunch and finally...showtime! We were the 9th group so it was a little of waiting time. Haha. Nervous sia. And it was not long before our group went onstage... TADA! WE WON! :D

Yay! 伏羲 won the best skit while 神农 won for 喊标-ing the most items the night before. The 姐妹队won! :D Next was photo taking sessions and we were given a certificate each. And it was time to go... 国锦,慧珊 & 晓萍 our group leaders, you guys wont be forgotten! 这个夏天真的不一young. (:

And that marks the end of CCC. Went for band practice on Friday. Sigh the band looks, feels and sound so different. But in anyways, we played a few songs, tuning and watched videos. Left with Yuanhui to meet Darren around his area. Heh. (: We went to watch Drag Me To Hell. Kinda planned to watch it like 2 weeks ago and finally here we are. Had dinner first and walked around a bit. And its 7.20pm, time to enter... Geez. The show is freaking SCARY! Kept screaming and Yuanyuan kept her bag covering her face. Haha! Darren was laughing lah. But the show kinda hilarious too. Oops contradicting but yeah, worth the money. XD Then we went to entertain ourselves at the Circle Line after having Ya Kun toast for supper. Its amazingly huge lah. Like the NorthEast line at Dhoby Ghaut there. Then we separated to go home...AND we met again. LOL! Darren lah. We realized never take photos so I gotta take a train back just to take photos together. =.= but worth while lah of course. And we really bid goodbye. (:

Looking forward to next outing! Got a few shows on the waiting list to catch. Haha. But studies first lah. Block test in 2 weeks' time and I haven even touched any notes. ): Apples&Bananas...
